Since 2005, a great chain of songs
Sol-La-S’Day is a project that helps spread peace, joy, love and compassion. Since 2005, more than 12,000 sol-la-singers have shared their joy with 45,000 people.
The idea
Julie Lecours, from Sherbrooke, wants to make a positive mark on the world around her. Inspired by her years in Scouting, she imagines a project that brings together singing and helping others.
The first edition
In February, with the help of a few friends, eight groups sing in the Greater Montreal area, the Eastern Townships, Mauricie and Lanaudière.
A worldwide wave
The project now reaches every region of Quebec, Ontario, New Brunswick, Belgium, Italy, France, Réunion, Costa Rica, Martinique, Guadeloupe and Senegal.
